Basic radio alarm
Reference : BIPECO
Basic radio foaling alarm, including :
- a halter transmitter with basic detection of inclination : if the transmitter is tilted in foaling position for more than 10 seconds, it starts alarming and keeps alarming for as long as it stays in alarming position,
- a pouch for fixing it on the halter
- a repeater amplifying the signal up to 500m (must be placed in near proximity of the mare, less than 30m, and requires a power connexion or an additional battery)
- a personal biper allowing to get the signal in the 500m around the alarm, watch style, with alarms by vibration and sound, OR a central unit with a 110db siren,
- a user manual.
For people foaling in places where there is no wifi or gsm or internet of any kind.
WARNING : this basic sort of alarms can produce, depending of the mare, a relatively high number of false alarms, that can be very uncomfortable if you don't have a camera or a solution to check on the mare without having to go out.
